Senior Specialist SEC Reporting

About the Role
Prepare SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks) and financial statements for The Charles Schwab Corporation and subsidiaries within the SEC Reporting group.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare external/internal financial reports and SEC filings
- Research accounting guidance to ensure accurate disclosures
- Prepare detailed documentation and workpapers supporting financial reports
- Coordinate with business partners across accounting, treasury, finance, legal, and investor relations
- Enhance and streamline reporting processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Participate in disclosure research projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting (CPA a plus)
- 2-3 years U.S. GAAP accounting and financial reporting experience
- Direct recent SEC reporting experience with public companies
- Strong Excel proficiency and Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
