About the Role

Processes title applications and issues motor vehicle registrations for Douglas County Division of Motor Vehicles. This customer-facing role ensures accurate documentation and compliance with Colorado motor vehicle statutes.

Responsibilities

- Process title applications and issue motor vehicle registrations

- Determine types of titles and registrations needed for each transaction

- Calculate and collect appropriate tax and registration fees

- Enforce emission and insurance requirements

- Verify accuracy of all documentation

- Ensure compliance with motor vehicle statutes, rules, and regulations

- Communicate daily with public, dealerships, finance companies, and banks regarding procedures

- Respond to customer complaints and explain policies

- May work in Elections Division during election cycles

Requirements

- High school diploma or GED

- One year clerical or customer service experience preferred

- Knowledge of motor vehicle statutes and regulations (will train)

- Strong attention to detail
