Bus Driver

About the Role
Responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from schools and District activities. Develops and promotes good community relations with students, parents, and school staff throughout Douglas County.

Responsibilities
- Transport students including special education students with moderate to severe needs
- Perform daily pre and post route safety inspections on assigned vehicle
- Maintain student conduct ensuring safety of all passengers
- Attend training programs and in-service days as required
- Report all accidents/incidents immediately to transportation management
- Pass annual pre/post ride checks and CDE test

Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Colorado
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and clear exit door 42 inches from ground
