Early Childhood Teacher

About the Role
Facilitate learning in an integrated, inclusive preschool classroom for ages 3-5 at Douglas County School District. Develop lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and individualized for students. Position for 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate learning and teaching in preschool classroom (ages 3-5)
- Plan and administer small and large group instruction
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Maintain students' ongoing assessment documents including IEP goals
- Conduct parent conferences and attend IEP-related meetings
- Supervise Education Assistants in the classroom
Requirements
- Three years experience with children ages 3-5, OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with CDE license
- Early Childhood Professional Credential or CDE license
- First Aid/CPR Certification
