About the Role
Douglas County School District is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at Roxborough Primary School. Support the nutrition services team in preparing and serving healthy meals to elementary students.
Responsibilities
- Assist in proper setup and cleanup of serving areas
- Follow HACCP standards and food safety protocols
- Serve meals while complying with school food regulations
- Operate Point of Sale system and reconcile daily
- Assist with food preparation including washing, cutting, and chopping
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team
- Physical ability to stand and lift up to 40 lbs
- Positive attitude and reliability
