About the Role
Substitute Teachers work in the absence of a regular Teacher at Douglas County School District schools. Aid students in understanding content, follow lesson plans, and maintain orderly classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Aid students in understanding content and subject matter
- Follow lesson plans provided by regular teacher
- Maintain neat and orderly classrooms
- Utilize professional classroom management skills
- Collaborate with staff at assigned schools
- Ensure student safety
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Current Colorado Department of Education Teaching License
- Five-year or three-year Substitute authorization from CDE
- Professional classroom management skills
