Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the Role
Responsible for preventive maintenance of building mechanical systems and equipment for Douglas County School District. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including motor lubrication, filters, pumps, and belts.

Responsibilities
- Inspect all systems and equipment on a regular basis
- Determine necessary preventive maintenance activities
- Coordinate maintenance activities with other trades
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems
- Maintain necessary records and reports
- May be responsible for maintenance of backflow systems

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Backflow Prevention Certification (ASSE)
- Physical ability to lift 20-50 lbs frequently
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders frequently
