About the Role
Seasonal instructor position at Douglas County Outdoor Education Center (Stone Canyon). Provides support for residential outdoor education, day retreats, corporate team building, and summer activities. Teaches science, outdoor education, and leadership development.

Responsibilities
- Supervise 4th-8th grade students in residential outdoor science school
- Teach activity groups of up to 15-16 students in outdoor settings
- Deliver lesson plans in science, outdoor education, and leadership
- Provide around-the-clock supervision including cabin responsibility
- Lead songs, games, and various group activities
- Assist with ropes course operations and equipment care
- Help deliver teambuilding programs to retreat and corporate groups
- Assist in site improvements including trail building and fire mitigation
- Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or Recreation
- CPR/First Aid Certification (American Heart Association)
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs occasionally

Benefits
- Compensation: $130/day In-Cabin rate; $100/day Out-of-Cabin rate
- 2 nights/week in cabin average
