Substitute Program Leader - BASE (Legacy Point Elementary)

About the Role
Responsible for supporting the Director and Assistant Director in supervising children in various programs and unstructured activities at Douglas County School District. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

Responsibilities
- Utilize positive techniques to support and guide behavior
- Promote respectful and cooperative interactions among children
- Ensure safety by providing appropriate supervision and guidance at all times
- Build healthy relationships by actively engaging with children
- Respond to children's unique needs and interests
- Plan and implement program activities for learning and skill development
- Help children explore interests and experience self-worth and belonging

Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Demonstrate ability to work with children
- At least 3 months (455 hours) verified experience supervising 4+ children over age 4
- OR current early childhood professional credential level I or higher
- First Aid & CPR Certification required
- High School diploma or equivalent
