About the Role
Provides a strong educational foundation in English Language Development (ELD) through the use of WIDA Standards and Colorado Academic Standards. Creates programming aligned to DCSD's framework and facilitates English instruction through a collaborative, structured immersion model for Multilingual Learners.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain MLPs for each identified Multilingual Learner
- Analyze student performance to support instructional decisions
- Administer state and federal assessments for Multilingual Learners
- Collaborate and partner with school personnel, students, and families
- Coach and mentor teachers to support Multilingual learners
- Establish a safe, inclusive environment for all learners
- Intentionally plan and facilitate instruction aligned with WIDA Standards

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Endorsement in Linguistically Diverse Education (LDE) or CLD learners
- Colorado Department of Education Professional License with CLD or LDE Endorsement
- Elementary teaching license (for Elementary) or Highly Qualified in Language Arts (Secondary)
