About the Role

Responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals in and around the pool or aquatic area at HRCA Recreation Centers.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions of a professional lifeguard per ILTP standards
• Prevents accidents through enforcement of pool rules and regulations
• Maintains discipline in and around the pool area
• Performs light maintenance and janitorial duties
• Assists with chemical logs and incident reports
• Performs host duties for birthday parties

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of age
• Completion of one year of high school desired
• Previous lifeguard experience desired
• Must complete and maintain ILTP/CPR license
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted
