Maintenance Staff

About the Role

Performs a variety of duties to maintain and ensure the smooth operation of all HRCA recreation facilities and equipment. Takes a lead role with assigned projects while helping to train other maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

    • Assists with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other major building systems
    • Performs repairs and maintenance to building systems and structures
    • Performs repairs to recreation equipment and installs new equipment
    • Initiates and completes construction projects as directed
    • Performs snow removal and ice abatement duties
    • Assists in lawn, landscape and sprinkler maintenance
    • Performs janitorial functions as needed
    • Assists in set-up/tear-down for Community Events

    Requirements

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Two years related experience desired
    • Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
    • Must pass pre-employment physical, background check and drug screening
    • Working knowledge of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities
    • Ability to use various hand and power tools
