About the Role
: Responsible for teaching swim lessons to students of all ages and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintains Starfish Aquatics Institute standards in teaching swim lessons in conjunction with HRCA guidelines.
- Teaches proper swimming strokes and techniques at the appropriate level.
- Provides for the safety of students, always following all policies and procedures.
- Works with students to improve their swimming ability and water skills in a constructive and enjoyable manner.
- Assesses students’ abilities, accurately and fairly, when determining further progression of instruction.
- Maintains communication with parents regarding a child’s progress or areas of concern.
