Meat Clerk

About the Role
Perform general clean-up and stock work in the Meat department at King Soopers Castle Rock location. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining food safety standards and product quality.

Responsibilities
- Wait on customers at meat counter promptly and cheerfully
- Unload and store merchandise, prepare and display foods per company standards
- Perform required temperature monitoring and ensure product freshness
- Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized
- Maintain proper signage, product rotation, and space allocation
- Wash and sanitize cookware per Health Department policies
- Operate cash register as applicable

Requirements
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and training materials
- Must be able to work with cleaning solutions and sharp tools
- Previous food preparation experience preferred
