Camp Counselor

About the Role
Lead children through day camp activities including sports, swimming, field trips, arts and crafts, and games for the Town of Castle Rock.

Responsibilities
- Assist in daily implementation of program standards
- Maintain safe environment for participant health and well-being
- Assist with planning and coordination of activities including setup and cleanup
- Supervise and lead children through various activities
- Process enrollments and registrations; collect payments
- Communicate with parents during drop off and pick up
- Ensure safety practices; administer First Aid and CPR if necessary
- Provide transportation by driving a van
- Complete fifteen (15) training hours annually

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 3 months (480 hours) experience working with school-aged children
- CPR, First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration Certifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Criminal background check required

Benefits
- Salary: $15.71 - $21.99/hour
- Part-time seasonal position
