Responsibilities
- Acts in the capacity of a PGA instructor for the Junior Golf Academy classes and clinics. May teach other group golf lessons
- Assesses participants’ level of play, and using professional judgment and expertise, develops content and implements daily lesson plans for students at varying skill levels. Monitors participants and ensures proper technique is followed. Provides individualized instruction when necessary
- Trains Golf Junior Instructors on golf instruction, teaching philosophies, and the management of programs to include clinics, juniors, group, and player development
- Maintains a credible golf game and remains current on teaching innovations
- Provides customer service by answering questions regarding the golf course and responding to customer concerns
- Performs other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Six (6) months of teaching experience is preferred;or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Currently enrolled in and/or completed Level 1 of the PGA/GPTP or LPGA/B certification
