About the Role
Ensure safety of pool patrons at the Castle Rock Recreation Center. Observe pool users, enforce rules, and perform emergency first aid and life-saving techniques.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of pool patrons
- Observe pool users and enforce pool rules and regulations
- Perform emergency first aid and life-saving techniques
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning
- Assist with inspection of pool and facility at opening and closing
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Knowledge in life saving procedures and pool maintenance preferred
- StarGuard Elite certifications: Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR/Professional Rescuer, AED, Emergency Oxygen, Epi Pin, Rescue Inhaler
- Knowledge and ability to perform various rescue techniques
- Knowledge of chemical supplies to treat swimming pools
Benefits
- Salary: $15.40 - $21.56/hour
- 30% certification reimbursement after 100 hours worked
- Part-time position
