Parks Seasonal Maintenance Worker II

About the Role
Join the Town of Castle Rock Parks and Recreation team for seasonal grounds maintenance work. Maintain parks, ball fields, and rights-of-way throughout the community.

Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, trimming, sodding
- Operate equipment such as tractors and mowers
- Perform regular and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
- Perform painting, cleaning, maintenance and repair on municipal property, structures, and facilities
- Utilize various manual, gasoline, and hand held electrical tools
- Clean/clear debris and refuse from Town property
- Coordinate and assist with special events operations

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to physically withstand exposure to varying weather conditions

Benefits
- Salary: $15.71 - $21.99/hour
