Responsibilities
- Adheres to Department of Human Services state rules and regulations regarding Child Care Centers
- Provides supervision and instruction of activities for children enrolled in programs and classes. Provides appropriate discipline and guidance as necessary
- Plans and coordinates the weekly curriculum
- Ensures maintenance and cleanliness of classroom, equipment and supplies
- Provides guidance to Preschool Activity Aides
- Ensures safety practices and administers First Aid and CPR when needed
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (60 semester credit hours) from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, including at least two (2), three (3)-semester credit hour courses in either:
