About the Role
Plan workouts and coach youth on competitive swimming for the Town of Castle Rock. Work with participants during practices and swim meets.
Responsibilities
- Plan workouts and coach youth on competitive swimming
- Organize relays for swim meets
- Direct Aides in working with participants
- Perform record keeping
- Communicate progress to parents
- Perform emergency first aid and life-saving techniques if needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year previous coaching experience
- American Red Cross certifications: Water Safety Instructor, First Aid, CPR/Professional Rescuer, AED, Emergency Oxygen
- Knowledge of Mountain High Swim League rules
- Ability to travel to meets
- Knowledge and ability to physically demonstrate 4 competitive strokes, starts, and turns
- Knowledge of rescue techniques and life-saving procedures
Benefits
- Salary: $16.02 - $22.43/hour
