Water Distribution System Operator I-IV

About the Role
Perform maintenance and inspections on Town-owned water infrastructure for Castle Rock Water. Repair lines, conduct inspections, and support emergency operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on Town infrastructure
- Repair and replace damaged lines and piping
- Conduct CCTV inspection and maintenance of sewer lines
- Track maintenance work and create accurate reports
- Collect bacteriological samples for new waterline connections
- Assist with locating Town infrastructure using GIS
- Support hydrant and backflow inspections
- Operate valves in emergency operations
- Perform acoustic leak detection operations
- Enter confined spaces utilizing proper PPE
- Share on-call duty on rotating schedule
- Participate in cross-training for emergency response
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED with two years related work experience
- State of Colorado Class 1 Operator certification (within one year)
- Valid Colorado Class A CDL with Tank Vehicle endorsement (within 6 months)
