About the Role
Join Castle Rock Water as a Water Plant Operator. Monitor water treatment through SCADA systems and perform maintenance on water plants and pump stations serving over 80,000 residents.

Responsibilities
- Monitor water treatment through SCADA system, interpreting conditions for necessary changes
- Inspect water plants and pump stations, recording operational changes
- Backwash filters and record data
- Perform routine laboratory analysis relating to process control
- Calculate usage and handle chemicals for supply orders
- Check and record static water and pumping water levels monthly
- Operate and perform maintenance on valves throughout the system
- Drain and clean reservoirs; backwash tanks as needed
- Respond to customer complaints about water quality
- Perform regularly scheduled filter changes and lubrication

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate's Degree for higher levels)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in water treatment depending on level
- State of Colorado Water Operator License (Class D, C, B, or A depending on level)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
