Junior Sports Official

About the Role
Officiates various sports leagues for the Town of Parker including baseball/softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football. Entry-level officiating position.

Responsibilities
- Officiate assigned sporting events with fairness and respect
- Maintain safe and fun environment during league play
- Judge performances and award points, impose penalties, determine results
- Arrive before scheduled events and start games on time
- Conduct inspections of equipment, participants, and field conditions
- Verify game scores with onsite Sports Supervisor
- Resolve rule infractions and complaints by participants
- Perform disciplinary actions for policy violations

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prior sports experience as player, coach, or official preferred
- Concussion recognition training within 90 days of hire (renewed annually)
