Junior Sports Official (Part-Time)

About the Role
The Town of Parker is hiring Junior Sports Officials to officiate various youth sports leagues including baseball/softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football.

Responsibilities
- Officiate assigned sporting events with fairness and respect
- Maintain safe and fun environment during league play
- Promote positive sportsmanship
- Judge performances and award points or penalties
- Start games on time
- Inspect equipment and field conditions for safety compliance
- Verify game scores with Sports Supervisor
- Resolve rule infractions and complaints
- Perform disciplinary actions when needed

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prior sports experience as player, coach, or official preferred
- Concussion recognition training within 90 days (renewed annually)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
