About the Role
Join the Parker Police Department providing exemplary 24-hour service to the community. The department is committed to community policing, making Parker a great place to live, work, and play. This position carries out law enforcement duties working in partnership with the community.

Responsibilities
- Respond to calls for service and interpret/uphold various laws
- Prevent, discover, and investigate crime
- Preserve public order and protect lives and property
- Initiate citizen contacts, traffic stops, and investigate suspicious occurrences
- Apply community policing strategies and facilitate problem solving
- Investigate, gather evidence, make arrests, and testify in court
- Complete required paperwork including reports and citations

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Colorado P.O.S.T. certification as Level 1 Peace Officer required
- At least one year of solo patrol experience
- Currently employed full-time as a sworn Police Officer
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
