About the Role
Join the Parker Police Department providing exemplary year-round, 24-hour service to citizens. Carries out law enforcement duties working in partnership with the community through community policing philosophy.

Responsibilities
- Respond to calls for service and interpret/uphold various laws
- Prevent, discover, and investigate crime
- Preserve public order, protect lives and property
- Apply knowledge and judgment to make prompt, effective decisions
- Initiate citizen contacts, traffic stops, investigate suspicious occurrences
- Interact with citizens to identify issues and work to resolve concerns
- Investigate, gather evidence, make arrests, prepare reports
- Testify in court and complete required paperwork
- Participate in community programs (National Night Out, Coffee with a Cop)

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Colorado P.O.S.T. certification as Level 1 Peace Officer
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with 2 years driving history
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Law Enforcement preferred
