About the Role
The Parker Police Department is seeking passionate individuals to apply for our sponsored Police Recruit program. We'll cover your academy costs and pay you $36.00/hr ($74,880 annually) during the 21-week academy. Upon graduation, transition to Police Officer 1 with $89,897.60 annual salary.
Responsibilities
- Attend Level 1 Colorado P.O.S.T. Academy (minimum 556 hours)
- Monitor academy progress and attend briefings
- Perform safety-sensitive law enforcement duties
- Engage with community through policing philosophy
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Pass comprehensive background investigation
