Recreation Head Coach/Instructor (Part-Time)

About the Role
The Town of Parker seeks Recreation Head Coaches/Instructors to lead youth sports, enrichment classes, and therapeutic recreation programs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans and practices
- Design inclusive programming with universally accessible activities
- Lead and supervise assistant coaches and volunteers
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment
- Act as main point of contact with participants and parents
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
- Lead training sessions and coaching workshops

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years experience in teaching, coaching, or recreation
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days
- AED certification within 90 days
- Concussion recognition training (renewed annually)
