Recreation Instructor - Swim Lessons

About the Role
Plans, instructs, and supervises swim lesson programs for the Town of Parker. Teaches swimming skills to participants of various ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans for swim lessons and aquatic programs
- Support inclusive programming by adapting activities for participants with disabilities
- Work directly with seniors in therapeutic recreation
- Foster inclusive, supportive, and positive environment
- Perform safety and maintenance checks on equipment
- Act as primary on-site contact for participants and parents
- Assess participant skill levels and provide feedback
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- One year of teaching or coaching experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Current Swim Instruction certification required
- Concussion recognition training within 90 days of hire
Benefits
- Salary: $19.10 - $24.20/hour
