Recreation Instructor/Coach - Sports (Part-Time)

About the Role
The Town of Parker is hiring part-time Recreation Instructors/Coaches for sports programs. Plan, instruct, and supervise youth sports, therapeutic activities, and enrichment classes.

Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans and practice schedules for youth sports
- Support inclusive programming for participants with disabilities
- Foster positive environment modeling sportsmanship and teamwork
- Perform safety checks on equipment and facilities
- Communicate with participants, parents, and guardians
- Assess skill levels and provide constructive feedback
- Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- One year experience in teaching or coaching preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- High school diploma or GED for some positions
- Concussion recognition training required
