Recreation Instructor/Coach - Swim Lessons

About the Role
Plans, instructs, and supervises recreational swim lesson programs at Town of Parker. Provides age-appropriate, safe, and enjoyable swimming instruction for participants of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans and practice schedules for swim lessons
- Instruct participants ensuring each session is age-appropriate and safe
- Support inclusive programming for participants with disabilities
- Work directly with seniors in therapeutic recreation
- Foster inclusive, supportive, and positive environment
- Perform safety and maintenance checks on pool equipment
- Assess participant skill levels, monitor progress, and provide feedback
- Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid

Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- One year relevant teaching or coaching experience preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Current Swim Instruction certification required
- Concussion recognition training within 90 days
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Benefits
- Salary: $19.10 - $24.20/hour
