Specialized Aquatics Instructor - Private Swim Lessons

About the Role
Provides one-on-one or small group swimming instruction, coaching and evaluation to clients and staff through Town of Parker Aquatics Division Programs. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient provision of pool and land-based instructional lessons, programs and trainings.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction, coaching and evaluation to clients
- Uphold and enforce facility safety guidelines and follow applicable policies
- Ensure course or lesson area is safe, set up and clean prior to and following each session
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are present and in proper working order
- Evaluate participants and provide immediate positive and corrective feedback
- Report incidents or accidents to supervisor immediately and provide necessary first aid
- Complete necessary reports and maintain records as outlined by program

Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
- Must be a current Town of Parker Swimming Lesson Instructor
- CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to swim at or above the teaching level
- One (1) year experience teaching swimming lessons for Adaptive Swimming Instruction
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities for Adaptive Swimming

Benefits
- Salary: $27.24 - $34.51/hour
