Patient Care Assistant Acute Care

About the Role
Patient Care Assistant position at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital with multiple units available. Provides direct patient care under the delegation and supervision of a nurse/healthcare provider. Contributes to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under delegation/supervision of nurse or healthcare provider
- Gather vital signs, measure blood glucose, and measure intake and output
- Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living and progressive mobility
- Keep care area stocked, cleaned and orderly
- Model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Partner with specialized ancillary team members

Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
