About the Role
Registered Nurse position at UCHealth Lone Tree Health Center in 3 South, covering specialties including cardiology, neurology, rheumatology, GI, dermatology, and hepatology. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral and support needs
- Evaluate learning needs and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel
- May precept student nurses and new hires
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license (State of Colorado)
- Graduate of accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program (if less than 3 years experience)
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- 6 months of nursing experience
- RN experience working in multi-specialties preferred
