Local Content Producer – Douglas County Media Brand

We’re hiring a Local Content Producer for a growing media brand based in Douglas County that highlights the people, places and stories that make this community great.

About you:

• You’re local to Douglas County (Castle Rock, Parker, Highlands Ranch etc.) and comfortable moving around the region.

• You’re comfortable shooting short-form video and photos using a smartphone or camera and turning them into polished social content.

• You’re okay chatting with business owners, capturing events or working in public venues.

• You care about telling local stories and helping build something meaningful—not just a side gig.

What you’ll do:

• Film at local events, shops, restaurants and attractions (quick capture, not big studio shoots)

• Edit videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok and other platforms

• Brainstorm content ideas and community features

Pay & perks:

• $25/hour depending on experience

• Reimbursement for meals, mileage, and tickets when applicable

• Flexible, part-time schedule — reliable communication and follow-through required

• Room to grow into a larger creative or editorial role
